This car had been "detailed" previously, but the owner brought it to me because he wasn't happy with the condition.

On to the polishing.

Same spot, just with different lighting. You can see a good amount of color change.

50/50 shot of the hood, but I ended up going back and compounding and repolishing the hood, roof, and trunk lid to remove the deep water etching that is giving the paint that rough look.

Thanks for checking it out.

Looks great. What did you use on the tail lights? What soap in the foam cannon did you use?

Lots of people from VA on here...cool! Great job w/ the detail!!!

Nice work on that v12 and thumps up for taking the time to clean behind the license plate too.

Oft ! ! !

I have a serious soft spot for BMW 8 series (more so a V12).

Excellent work on it :)

Nice vehicle is that the BMW E31 850C Si (M8), Love the color, you did an outstanding job, I have always love the 8 Series may be coming back out in very near future (compete with AUDI)

Looks great, awesome car!

The brush you used on the rugs is awesome, i use it often for upholstery as it is gentle when brushing along with the bends of the boars hair.

That car was 'tha bomb' back in the day. You did a great job bringing that PIMP MOBILE back to life!

I never cared for the monster tailites on that model FWIW

Nice job! Never would've guessed there was a V12 laying in there from the pics. Keep up the good work.

Very nicely done! Thanks for sharing and taking the time to post it. Look forward to your next one!

Nice job restoring it, and thanks for taking the time to photo-document your work. That's a sharp looking car, and I don't think I've ever seen one of those before. Did you happen to take any interior pics?

Thanks for all the comments!

I really like this brush because I don't feel comfortable using something more aggressive when working on carpets that I can't afford to replace if they are damaged. I have two of them, one for leather and one for carpets.

For some reason I didn't take any before and after interior pictures, but the carpets were the only place you could see a dramatic improvement.
