Have a Black Nigh

Do you have any before pictures?

Do you have any Sun shots?

Any 50/50 photos?

Any insight on what techniques you used to achieve the final result?

What products did you use?

Dear Kyle,

There are enough professional car care specialists :buffing: garages, car washes etc. on AG who do it, for me detailing is a hobby only - a car a month. There are some art works where such before/after pics are available as seen in my previous posts.
This poor BMW M5 was parked minus level 3, the paint thickness is sometimes 0.5mm up to 0.8mm on average so i doubt it could be wet sanded & machine polished so hand application only with a hand polishing pads for nano polish, wax, sealant with products mixed.
Also I doubt in wet sanding results on 2K (components) clear coats & scratch resistant lacquers or caramicoat, in my opinion this technique should be used only on single stage paints.
When I do 1K paint by machine I instead use a right pads without wet sanding & results are I hope amazing, soon will post.
Mark's Best Nano Polish & Wax is a V.V.I.P. Club, it's not a business that's why in 2Y I made only plus 20 cars, it's not commercial. Not every car is accepted, only the cars I call cars. Not every individual with expensive or classic car is admitted to my club, if I don't like somebody's face they are rejected even if it's an exotic & rare car that other garages would fight for it.
In Israel cars are not cheap as here is 100% import tax on all foreign vehicles & all vehicles in Israel are foreign. Any car you see I detail in Tel Aviv it's like Ferrari at least in USA, Europe. Example last car I posted here is Mercedes SL 63 AMG in USA from $150,000 in Israel from $300,000 so we talk here about top of the top cars & nice people
:welcome:
Regarding products I have about 100 bottles, gadgets etc. from about 20 car care/tools companies mostly from Germany, Switzerland, UK, Italy, France, Spain, Japan, USA, Scandinavia & I use it, new brands & products are coming slowly, I am not a marketing freak & don't jump into every new bottle, slogan, promise, advert, miracle.
I keep it simple : World's top engineers, chemists, scientists made this or that kind of paint, color, nano technology used etc. so my work is not to outsmart them with cutting their artisan work, my hobby is to bring it back to glory & shine, if somebody want a paint restoration where it's not possible, I send them for repainting to Germany or other European country as in Israel repainted cars look worse than bicycles, here if customer repaints a BMW, Porsche, Mercedes locally at original service center garage, their car looks worse than cheapest new Mazda, Hyundai, KIA & even new Chinese cars.

In no way am I questioning your approach

I personally, enjoy Show & Shine threads that I can learn from

Part of that learning process for me involves understanding the the condition of the vehicle before correction via close-up pictures and after close-up pictures

The 50/50 photos are my favorite, because they most accurately show the defect correction that was accomplished

Describing the tools, products and techniques used by the S&S poster helps me understand how they got to the end result

Always trying to learn
