This was a pretty quick job on a pre-sold 07 X3 (Titanium Gray Metallic....I'm not fond of this color for some reason)
Used Meg's 83 and a foam compound pad to remove light scratches and swirls. Followed that with a general polishing using 83 on a finish pad and finished with #26 wax for delivery. For the black plastic body cladding, I used Almost Magic prior to the final power wash. This gets rid of excess product and leaves a nice OEM finish that is dry to the touch.
The indoor lighting plays tricks with the camera color renditions.
Outdoor shots
I finished that and prepped an almost new 08 black X5 that was driven from a Michigan dealership. The X5 had been a dealer demo and only had 3000 miles. General cleaning plus a coat of #26 and it was ready for delivery tonight.
Next up: Black Metallic 750Li which starts tomorrow. Probably use System One after I evaluate the paint condition.
