BMW X5 - Menzerna Triple Product Review

Toto, I'm always amazed of your work. I want thank you for sharing it with us. I need a little info if you don't mine sharing. What is your process for removing dog hair out of carpet? I have adequate removal of hair with DI water/fabric softener mix, brush and vacuum. But some carpets it will not put a dent in it.

Ahhhhh....dog hair! I have 2 mutts myself (both rescue's..pitbull mix and the world's goofiest black lab LOL).

I just did that red X5 that had a lot of dog hair and used the following methods: vacuum, vacuum with a brush attachment, vacuum and finally take some duct tape and reverse it to dab the carpet for any hair the vacuum missed. The tape also works well in seats, corners, etc. I also don't get anything wet until the hair is removed as it tends to bind with the carpeting, etc and is tougher to get out.

I probably spent 45 minutes getting the hair out of that X5. There might be a couple of strands left for the CSI team to find (if Grissom is that good....our company supplies some of the props to that show).

Wow Toto, that was quick! Thank you so very much. I tried blue (painter) tape. Should have used duct tape. I can see where duct tape would work better.
Thank you again......

Duct Tape "is your friend" Sparky! I saw a book at the airport on the goofy uses for this stuff.....super funny!

See Ya...gotta go to work on my other job.

Sort of late with the question given the direction of the post, but as for the Power Gloss and severe dusting- what about using an instant detailer like Meg's Last Touch, maybe even broken down to a 1:1 dilution ration as a lubricant on the pad? Would that have too many adverse affects on the polish/compound breaking down?

I ask because I have utilized that method with Meg's 83 before to help reduce dusting and it worked ok.
