I had coated this vehicle about a year ago. At that time, we coated it with OC2.0, so this time around the owner decided that he wanted to remove that coating and apply CQuartz Finest
He also wanted to change the look of his wheels, so we sent those off to have them powder coated.

While the vehicle was on the stands, I started my compounding/polish process.

Cutting was with a MegsMF cutting disc and 205, then following that with MegsMF Finishing pads and 205, followed by CarPro Reflect on the new Gloss pads.
Once the wheels came in, I applied two coats of CQuartz Finest and cured them with Infrared curing lamps.
We also had Paint Protection Film to the front bumper, hood and mirrors of the vehicle prior to coating.

Four layers of CQuartz Finest later and this is what we have. I am going to get professional pictures taken of this one for some marketing.

Enjoy.

100ML of FINEST used!!

Spectacular! I wish my BSM BMW looked THAT good. Tell the owner to drive it over to Green/Spart and show the factory boys how it should look.

It will get some exposure at Cars and Coffee I am sure.

Id say it is one of the fastest in the area as well. Dinan stage three.

Where do you get the CQUARTZ FINEST;I don't see it listed on the site? I would like to do my 4 cars!

4 layers?? Good Lord, man, how long did that take you to do? I've been averaging 2 hours/layer with Finest. This version takes a lot longer to do than V5 did.

Having said that, it looks positively brilliant!!
