Boars Hair brush - stiff or not stiff

Hello, which would be the better choice of a boars hair brush for boat covers, bimini tops, front visors, side curtains, etc.?

These are sunbrella, marine fabrics.

Actually, any of the boar's hair brushes would be good choices for Sunbrella and Marine Fabrics.

The bristles on all the brushes become softer after they become saturated with water and correctly used you're supposed to soak them before you use them.

That's what I was afraid of, I'm not wanting them to be soft and flimsy. Hopefully they maintain some sort of stiffness while working the canvas.

So, would a stiff bristle be a better option?
