Boars Hair Wash Brush - Worth the Investment?

I have wanted to buy one before, but now I am really intrigued on how well one would clean for most of the vehicles I detail. I like the idea of the hairs rinsing clean, unlike most things microfiber. I just purchased some LW wash pads on BOGO, so when they wear out I will try the BH.

Based on all the relevant replies it sounds like the brush and a pole are great for doing large SUVs and trucks. I might buy one for that purpose and just stick with my MF mitts and pads for washing the cars.

I have the car boars hair brush that scratched the heck out of my black Impala and did the same to my Camaro. For those that the CD scratch test give it a try. Honestly when I ran it across the CD I did it dry, which no one would do to a car. That said when I stopped using it, the marrring stopped.

I also have the blonde boars hair brush for wheels that I still use but it passed the cd test dry.

No more brushes on car paint for me.
