Bond James Bond

Nice car and nice detail job...I have probably only seen 2 or 3 of those before.

1 of 178 huh...if that is exotic I guess mine is really exotic (1 of 154) :) wooohooo

You threw us way off High End, but that is still a very nice BMW and an excellent job detailing it!

Great job and great car. Buddy back at college had a black Z8. Drove awsome, and those compaining about the guage layout, they are at a slight angle so when your driving you can still see them fine. When the car was designed it was to be a throwback and sorta nostalgic which is why they did that. And the S62 V8 from the E39 M5 ripped in that car being lighter then the M5 sedan.

Only one issue, he had it recalled for a chassis defect, theirs a flaw in the chassis that is prone to fatigue and bending if a large bump, pothole etc is hit. Some guys had their chassis slightly bend, but enough to throw the car outta wack.

Beautiful work on a beautiful car. Great job, Ed. Can't wait for you to detail a Maybach!:awesome: Im the MAN

Great work on that rare Bimmer! Love the color. I've done a few Z4's and the interiors are a pita because they are small and cramped. One of the best ways for me is to do a lot of interior detailing while the car is on the lift at the shop....sure saves the knees and back!

The gauge setup might be ok for a sunday drive around the hood Boca Boy. I certainly would not want to take the car on a track Mr. Trackman.:p

Sorry to get off topic Ed, I just like to mess with Surfer. Somebody needs to keep him in line. ;)

Psssshhhh:rolleyes:, Mr I have a 10% equity take in Surfers Gallardo Im the MAN

Trust me, it works well when driving, Ford GT has similar style, besides......who looks at it on the track, real men go by engine sound alone and "sense" the speed entering corners :D

Even the crappy looking plastic interior on a Ford GT has the most important gauges in front of the driver. It was also the throw back to the original and the interior really sucks. Other then the interior, truck tires and the back bumper it's a pretty nice car. I have driven a couple different Ford GT's and I was not that impressed.

There go Gary and Surfer....male trash talking land!
lol

It's not the real batmobile. It is what everybody calls it. It is a 1981 greenwood gto

Built by Race car builder and driver John and Burt Greenwood in 1982, this is one of only 2 GTO's that were built out of a total of 43 cars from 1975 to 82.
It is black with red interior, with a 4-speed, 3,755 documented miles, tank sticker and title history. It has a 350 cubic inch Turbo charged motor, 4-speed transmission, power windows, power locks, power steering, power seats, Foose wheels, drilled rotors, Billstein shocks, rear lift back glass, Greenwood Corvette registry GTO#002. It was aquired at the Barrett-Jackson Auto Auction in February 2006.
MSO to Mancuso Chevrolet built by Race car builder and driver John and Burt Greenwood in 1982. Only 2 Corvette GTO's were built out of a total of 43 cars from 1975 - 82. Two 4-speed turbo cars were built and this is the last car produced. Restoration was done in 2004 by Ayers Paint & Body and Nabers Motors in Houston, Texas. It has been a feature car at Corvettes at Carlisle (Chips Choice #212 display), NCRS display, Autorama winner and local car show winner. Four magazines, Vette Vues, Sting Ray 82 in Holland, Carlisle Magazine and was featured in Vette Magazine's February 2006 issue.
