Borderless Blonde MFs by Zaino...

The Zaino blonde isn't MF, just cotton. The white ones are MF.

The "Z-Blondes" are said to be made from: Cotton-microfibers...vs the 'typical': Polyester/Polyamide-microfibers.

I don't know where you guys are getting this from, the Z blonde towel is microfiber (synthetic), it was the first synthetic towel that ol' Sal approved of. Of course, I can't find anywhere on their site or on that other forum I used to spend time on where it says they are synthetic, but by the same token I can't find anything in either place that says they are cotton.

I even went into my warehouse...er, my workshop, and after 15 minutes of looking found my unopened package of (Zaino) Blondes (Circa 2010), and perused the tag in the bag which did not mention the material of construction, however they were inspected by Reyn.

Just checked my pack, and the blondes say made in the USA of domestic and imported materials, and the white ones say fabric woven in Korea...

Who knows what they really are???

I was real close to buying more, but I have enough to easily last for some time. May pick some more up when they're in stock next.

Who said that all microfibers/microfiber-towels are synthetics?

Microfiber Definition:
A very small, minute quantities or variations of a yarn that's spun into thread, which is then used to weave a fabric.

These ultra-fine yarns (2X as fine as silk and 100X finer than a human hair) are made form various sources/materials:
-Polyester/Polyamide(s)
-Natural material such as cellulose (100% cotton)

And surely 'ol Sal, who detests polyester/polyamide-MF-towel products;
and who believes in, (wholeheartedly), and supposedly only sells
100% cotton-MF-towel products...would not have it otherwise!!

Just saying.

FunX, I'm aware that MF towels can be made out of cotton, like the DF towels if you could ever get ol' Leo to fill your order.

I also agree that the Zaino Blonde is the cousin of the Duragloss Plush Microfiber Polishing Cloth, I even posted a thread comparing them a long time ago in a forum far, far away. However, my Duragloss package says: Fabric Content: 75% Polyester, 25% Polyamide.

I know ol' Sal was on the cotton bandwagon for many years, and it was quite a retrenchment for him to not only recommend, but sell, a synthetic towel. As you say, since he "detests" (or did) synthetic towels, why doesn't he proudly proclaim his homegrown towel to be "100% cotton!"? IMO it's because it isn't, and he doesn't want to have epithets hurled at him for suddenly changing his tune, which is why he doesn't proudly proclaim "100% synthetic!", either.

I actually tried to go down to the address on the Zaino website so I could speak to ol' Sal about all this in person, but that address is a UPS store, because Sal conducts all his business at a secret location so no one can find out how his products are made or whether they come from NC. However, I hope to one day track down "Reyn" and maybe he/she/it can tell me what the towels are made of.

I currently using Pakshak edgeless Silver surfer towels and they are great in removing polish and sealants.

I've never tried the BB towel, but I'm really liking the CarPro BOA towel. Has anyone compared the two?

It's borderless as well.

Swanic I am interested in how they compare as well. I have 3 boas and love them. Seem a good bit cheaper than the Zaino's as well. They do very very lightly lint 5 or 6 orange bits on my other towels though even after a few washes. Have you noticed this?

I haven't yet used the Zaino blonde towels that I purchased a while back. They're extra nice towels, but the 3 pack should be about 10 bucks cheaper IMO.
