Hello everyone, I have always taken care of my cars, but finally got a brand new one! Redfire Pearl color, and it has spiderwebs in it, espically on the hood. I do everything by hand, so far, still too chicken to try a PC. I want to get the spiderwebs out, but don't want to do any damage to my paint, everyone I talk to says I just have to live with them, that every car has them, well I don't like them and want to get rid of them if I can. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

you need to move to a buffer and polishes like Menzerna, hand polishing wont work. If you want to hide them temporarily (a couple washes at best) then consider a glaze which will hide/fill them. Again not the best move, but temp. Once you get the buffer you will kill yourself for not doing it sooner. Very easy and simple with great results.

with all the how to videos on here jumping into using a pc or flex is not as hard as you think.

A PC will not harm your paint. Using a good machine buffer is the only way the are going to come out.

And not every car has then. Don't let your friends give you false information.

Thanks for the advice, I am going to go over all the videos of the pc, and get one, of course I am going to practice on my husbands truck before touching my car with it though, now I am going to need help on what products to use to get the spiderwebs out and keep my shine and protection. Thanks again.

:welcome: ...and good luck. A little homework goes a long way for me.

Any suggestions for product use to remove spiderwebs on the hood? When I order my pc I want to get the correct products, the only polish I currently have is Meguires, possibly I should get some menerza? what one? or some xmt? Any suggestions? Thanks
