Hey guys, I just got my quick connectors. Do they only come in one size?

From the looks of them they are for a garden hose, not my pressure washer wand. I bought them to connect my foam cannon.

Any help on this would be great

Thanks

There are 2 sizes if I remember right. Can you post a picture of the quick connector.

will do, how do I add a picture tho. Sorry kinda new to the site

Did you buy them from AG? All that I've seen on AG are the brass water/garden hose QDs. Any Lowe's, Home Depot or pressure washer supply store should have the QD you're looking for.

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I897 using AG Online

Dramm makes the best qd. I had gilmours and they leaked in less than a year. Probably because of the hard water we get here.

ok will check HD, and Lowes, just worried that it may not be the same quality, and might leak.

If any of you have pictures of your quick connectors to your pressure washer i'd like to see em.

Thanks

If your connecting a "MTM Type" foam cannon to a pressure washer you bought the wrong ones. The ones I believe you want are a 3/8" style nipple that goes into a retractable female collar.

These are readily available at Lowes & Home Depot, along with the garden hose ones AG sells. They are with the pressure washers. There are a few nipple collar and thread sizes out there, so bring the cannon to match it up.

thats good news, thanks all for the help, much appreciated!

The recent ones at Lowes are not the same as what AG sells. The shut-off was steel/plastic. The AG stuff is solid brass. The Lowes look like anodized something but not as heavy as what AG sells. Gilmour makes more than type: nice ones and cheap.

I have at least 4 sets of the disconnects plus extra male ones.
The only issue I have had is the rubber ring on one (what you push to disconnect them) slips off slightly.

Does the Quick Connect that attaches to the garden hose (coupler on the left) seal when the other part (coupler on the right) is removed?

Or does one need to install a shut-off valve before it?

Thanks!

Most wand to pressure hose need an m22 fitting, can be had at Home Depot.
