I tried searching to no avail, but I was wondering what Menzerna po87mc looks like when fully broken down?

I was polishing my hood with my PC and ccs blue pad to jewel the paint and even though I was working it in for a long time, I never felt like I had fully broken the polish down.

As always, thanks in advance :)

It should be almost transparent. It sounds to me like you're using too much product; if that's the case then you'll be there for a REALLY long time trying to break it down, especially with a PC.

My advice is to just use a tiny dab of product per section, use the PC on speed 6 using very slow overlapping passes, and report back with your results :)

Ok, I will definately give that a try. Now that you explained it, I think I was using a bit too much after the pad was primed. I was wondering after a while "why the f*** isnt it breaking down!" haha thanks

It sounds like you were using too much, plus after a while, you have to clean out the pad or switch to a new pad as the pad will have absorbed too much polish to continue polishing properly.

You are looking for a translucent type of look when the polish is broken down.
