I got a few wash products that I've been dying to try but unfortunately when you live in a freezing climate the chances to break out the buckets is few and far between. Well last week we had a day jump up to 5C so I got to play for a bit before the sun went down. This 2000 Jetta is our winter car I guess you would call it but it doesn't get much use these days, but it still needs some love.

Few of the new items:

First try with the Wolfgang Foam Master and DP Xtreme Foam. Used warm water but I'm not sure if the cold weather reduces foaming. It is a fun tool, will need to use it a few more times to get the hang of it and ratio I like.

The Wheel after washing about to get some Iron X thrown at it.

Iron X doing it's thing. So cool to watch I think I would use it even if it didn't work at all.

After Iron X, I would say that it works.

And the after shot. It was starting to get cold so I didn't get very many pictures and I know it's not that interesting but hey my wife refuses to look at pictures of me cleaning a car and I need to show them to someone.

Next this car will get the full attack with my new Flex 3401 and the whole box of goodies that showed up this weekend from Autogeek. Just need to get the damn garage finished but that's another post.

Looks like you had fun with the new products. The ride came out nice and clean. Thanks for sharing!

looks great! How do you like the ShMitt? I've been contemplating trying one out.

Lol my girlfriend just goes "Oh geeze" when I try to show her sutff

so do all our wives but they secretly love riding around in a sparkling clean ride...

nice job!

transambrotha, it was my first try with the Shmitt and since it was rushed I didn't give it much thought.

Fit's nice on the hand and no fear of dropping it. Not great in tight area's but maybe I need to get used to it. It is easy to see if you have anything on it, and clean it off.

I bought them based on a lot of good reviews and will defiantly give it another shot.

Thanks for the comments. It was fun and a nice break from shoveling the driveway.
