Greetings esteemed car nuts,
Hello. My name is Brian and I am a car nut. What can I say, I love my car. It makes me smile every time I get in it. I like just looking at it. I cry when I hurt it. I scream like a little school girl when I smoke that rich kid with the loud Camero and can spray road debris all over him before I even get out of the intersection. I can't wait for my next upgrade. I spend, I plan, I spend some more. I am consumed. I want to autocross and NASA Time Trial with my car. I might have a problem, but I like it.
I live in an apartment, so I have been slow to get into detailing. I just began my first paint correction on the Mustang this past weekend. I could not have done it without your help here on the forum. Thank you. I have a renewed respect for you that do details for a living. What a colossal pain in the back! I can't believe how time consuming this is. I just completed the wash and clay on Saturday. It took me six hours to complete the multi-step polish and protection on just the hood on Sunday. Wow, I'm so glad I only have to do this once a year. However, it looks great! I can't quit staring at it. I can see paying a thousand bucks for a detail now. I'll probably do another thread on my thoughts/questions with the detail.
Thanks again for your combined advice and I look forward to learning more in the future.
