Well I have a feeling winter is on the way. Temps were like 60 today here in Delaware and I was able to do the last of my winter prep. Supposed to only be mid 40's tomorrow.

I washed my truck and layed on a coat of Wolfgang DGLS. Got my snow blower out and all prepped and treated with some old Detailer Pride Surface Shield.

Finally decided it was time to bring all of my detailing products from my garage into the basement. My garage usually stays pretty warm but I figured to be safe I would haul everything downstairs...UGH.

Bring on winter :D

It was 85 today in Mesa AZ :) next week will be high 70's.

Best thing would be to make a new thread so everyone would see it.

Your basic 3 hour wash-n-wax is where the money is at. I would price it at $150 ($50 pr hour) and hire lots of help ($10 pr hr)

:)

I do love snow,,i thinks its awesome to see,,,,,On a Post card !!!!
Always love hearing when people say they love the snow, I just have so many memories of scrapping my windows clean at 430 am trying just to get to work !!!

how do i make a thread?

Go to the starting page of the forums, select what topic your questions falls into
For example,,If I wanted to tell the forum that my pinky hurts,, i would post that in Off topic Im the MAN

If my question was about a certain product ect,,I would post that under the products category if it there was one. You could also post it under detailing 101 for example

Also using the search feature will bring very good results most of the time when searching for detailing related questions

Hope this helps a little

Bring on winter :D

No! At least not until I get my Blizzaks mounted. The tires are in and I'm just waiting on the rims.

May put some Tuff-Shine on the new winter tires. It held up very well on my last set of winter tires.

As my chronological years pile-up...
-I'm becoming less, and less of an aficionado of the piles-of-snow...
That the Winter-months often bring about.

This sometimes cause me to think:
'Rather to have an eye poked with a stick"!!

As to...This thread-starter's title:

^^^For me: Not really 'a smiley'...^^^

Is that the green stuff?

Hey Richard. Yes I still have 2 bottles of it. It's good stuff and doesn't get talked about much. I used the Surface Shield Spray on the snow blower. :xyxthumbs:

Had another frost Thursday night but it did hit 63 in Greenville NC yesterday. I washed and waxed my truck yesterday. 45 now.

I woke up in Western PA today to find about a half-inch of white stuff on the cars that sit outside. For once I can say my DD's are prepared. My Olds got two coats of Collinite 476 over the past two weekends and the wife's BMW got a DG501/601 rub, topped with 476, including wheels, side/rear glass and exterior smooth plastics on Thanksgiving morning. My new-to-me GG polisher got a good workout and as much as I don't care for winter, at least I can rest assured that I've done about as much as I can do to the DD's. I'm stocked up on ONR and DG Rinseless, so now it's all about waiting for a mild enough day to do some quick washing.

I left the 20's-30's and a couple inches of snow in Michigan about 10 days ago for the 50's-60's of Chicago. Then Chicago went into the 20's and 30's the last couple days. Today drove back to the 20's and 30's of Michigan only to find a foot of snow on the ground, and drive in this for the last 175 miles. So yeah, I love winter.
