Bringing A Hood Back

This was my Sunday project. Its my parents beater Suburban the hood had totally faded out and looked bad. This was my first attempt at doing anything like this so let me know what you guys think. I think it turned out really good. Oh and at the bottom my puppy wanted to say hi.














 
Nice work there!! The hood came out great, just like new ;) Sweet dog :D
 
I think it looks awesome! Red makes for great before and after pics. Isn't this stuff great.
 
Very good job for being the first time...in fact excellent ...you did the paint a favor..made it show its true color....

It's a good weekend to be a red pickup truck, it seems. Nice job!
 
I washed with LAS wash from Race Glaze then I used XMT 3 then 1. Then used Wolfgang glaze and topped it off with Pinnacle Liquid Souveran. I was impressed with how easy the XMT products were to use. Im glad I had this to practice on before I actually tried it on something where it matters if I had screwed up.

Wow, you turned your hood into a dog :D just kidding. Nice work, that hood's back to life. I want a dog like yours!
