yea, just got a 12v black and decker drill. just ordered a 35w 4700k eiko (same as solux apparently) and the lamp holder. So just waiting on that
 
So any drill will work? What should one look for?
I went to my local swap meet this past weekend and they had a bunch of drills.

Would have bought one, like the yellow Dewalts but didn't know if you could do the same setup.

Any cordless 14.4v or 12v with a 3/8 chuck.
 
yea any 14.4 or 12v with a 3/8 chuck, but everyone I have talked to said that the 12v would be the best, cause its a bit safer for the voltage used on the bulb and im using the 35w 4700k instead of the 50w cause people who have used both have said that the 50 is tooo bright
 
the 50 lights up my back yard,, (however the 50 is what teh 3M gun has) maybe a 35 with a more narrow beam would work better. but yea 12 volt.
