I had a client who recently purchase a BRZ. The first weekend he had it, he asked me to do a new car detail. Which included wash/clay/sealant. I used BFWD on his last detail, it seemed to hold up pretty well. He called me a recently and asked if I can one step and Opti-Coat his car.

I like it man looks good!! Was this filmed as a time lapse or did you just edit it that way? It really shows the amount of work that went into it. BTW im diggin the headlamp to inspect as you go good idea!

Thanks! It was filmed, I just speed up everything because I wanted under 6 min. I was looking for headlamp but didn't know which one was good. Franki from OTD told me about the Fenix, it's a great tool. Barely notice its on you head.

That Soobie blue makes a $25K car look like a million bucks:dblthumb2: Great work on the car, I'm going to be doing a rinseless wash, clay and sealant on one very soon, same color and everything, can't wait!

Great video! Looks like identical to a scion FRS

also how do you do interior details inside the garage?

Thanks! I can't agree more. It was a joy detailing the BRZ, very rare because they only made a few this year.

Thanks Tom, took forever editing it. BRZ and FR-S are very similar, but the Subaru has a nicer trim package. I usually do interiors first and its mostly done outside.

NJ IN THE HOUSE!

great video.

any reason in particular for skipping the inner wheel barrels? the do add some time, obviously, but the stuff works so well for that purpose i can't do it half way anymore.

I never even thought about the inner wheel barrels, it was my first application. Will do them next time, do you remove the wheels?

Looks great.

I dont know what it is but there seems to be an overwhelming amount of new BRZ/FRS owners looking to have there cars Opti-Coated....

Thanks!

yep!

gotta clean them completely and prep just like everything else to make sure there is absolutely nothing on the surface to be coated, but it will pay dividends down the road. stuff like those little tar bits and such won't stick nearly as easily and with a daytona type inner barrel wheel brush you'll have them looking mint forever, and to me that makes a huge difference in how wheels and a car look. clean barrels are awesome!

subaru paint is terribly soft and thin. not quite honda soft, but it's soft and sticky.

2.0 is almost required imo if you want to keep the car looking good.

i'm amazed at how my new STI paint changed with 2.0.

Thanks for the heads up. I have a BRZ to Opti-Coat soon.

the good thing is it corrects easily. like late model hondas, you need to use what most people would consider an extremely minimal approach. it's just so dang thin so be careful if correcting deeper flaws, hehe.

Awesome job and sweet video! I love the song.

Their are so many of the BRZ/FR-S's here on Long Island. Their becoming more common then Honda Civics lol.
