Why are bucket dollys so expensive, or am I just looking at the wrong sites? Because of the price do you guys really use them?

I just use buckets... I don't want mine rolling away. I figure my hose would push it around also. And mainly cost is why I have never bought in first place.

I just built out out of scraps of plywood and some old swival wheels had laying around.

They are expensive...but what's nice about them, is the bucket clamps are the exact hight as the Grit Guards themselves, and keeps them securely in place. I don't like my Grit Guards moving around at all...I use two in each bucket. (I understand different buckets have different ID's)

I'd only get the ones with the cart. I don't really see the point in being lazy unless I can be completely lazy. I hate bending over more than anything. I'm always jealous of the AG carts, but same sentiment. Too many other things I "need" that the money could be spent on.

Love mine . Easy to roll out of the garage and around the ride while washing

I have one just like this http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/product-reviews/37486-ag-wash-bucket-cart-pic-s.html

I've had it for years and it's been great! If I remember right it was about $150 or so but has paid for itself two fold. I always use the 2 bucket method when washing. One bucket goes in the "bucket" spot and the other on top the cart. I don't know if AG still sells them, I did a quick search and didn't see any.

I did a Google image search for "detailing bucket cart" and found some like it. Premiumboatcare shows $99 but it's on back order.

I wouldn't hesitate purchasing this cart again. I think you would find it extremely useful.

Because they're worth it!

Sent while I was Detailing or something related to detailing ;) or...

You can get furniture Dollys at harbor freight for like $10 that you can easily make into bucket Dollys

I bought the dual bucket dolly five years ago. Yes it was expensive but you get what you pay for. I use the product often keeping three vehicles clean and it works just as good now as day one. Real nice piece of gear to tote around your two buckets as you move around the vehicle.
