What is your favorite buffing pad for "Hacked" up paint and what is your favorite compounds? Also... What is your favorite for heavy oxidation. Just checking out people's opinions!! Pictures are great!! Thanks!!

No replies? Hmmm I guess everyone is just as clueless as we are!?!

No two paint systems are the same. I generally have a go to when deciding the test spot. But then again, the test spot decides the combination.
This past summer, I was fond of 6.5" OMF finishing pad paired with the 9227C and OHC adding drops of OCII as needed) for hacked up paint and limited time. Finished with 5.5"OMF finishing pad and OHP on the XP.
I gave much thought to forum member theparmachine remarks and have since gone back mostly to 6.5" foam pads on the rotary for cut and alternating either foam or MF for polishing when in a time crunch on hacked up paint. I've got around 2 dozen MF pads~all Optimum, and 60 or so foam pads from various mfg's in sizes from 3' - 8".
Personally I feel that the Optimum lineup reduces my need for various polishes/mfg's.

Edit: For heavy oxidation I'll choose an old pad from the bin or wool blend, and as usual, Optimum.
