Well i already know the answer to this ? but mine is complex. I know wax, sealents, glaze, etc etc do not work well in temps under 50 deg...

but i plan to use my Makita 9227C rotary in 40-42 deg. I only have to get the hood and fenders done tonight, than i getting a heater. I would just wait til i have heat but theres tons to do on this new 5.0 stang and if i could get half the car done it would help me out tons.

So wont the heat from the polisher help ?? I wont be using the wool pad but a blended polishing pad instead. (the ones that comes with the unit ) .... all my pads are for my PC. and are much smaller.

Theres just a few bigger imperfections i want gone before i start with the PC. If i used the PC for them it would take forever.

thoughts guys???

What is a blend pad

I use all of my products in cold winter temps (garage temp around 40) and have never had an issue.

I have also used everything I own at cold temps at some point or another. including wax. Doesn't usually seem to be a problem.

I also don't understand your description of the pad. A blend? what size is the pad 7".
