Ok, so I now have used, Megs, Hybrid and Lake Country. All different strength pads. Along with MF pads as well. I need to get a few more just to have some in the back supply. What are your 2 favorite pads and why?

Orange Lake Country CCS 5" on a FLEX 3401 with Wolfgang Total Swirl Remover

I was afraid of the orange, because I didn't think I could get it to finish out on my black paint.

I found that if I make the last two passes on speed 6 with as little pressure as possible; it finishes out great!

What type of differences do you notice between these 3 types of pads?

I don't like how the product builds up into the dimples on the CCS pads and on the hexlogic it wedges down in the cracks. I sold floor care chemicals for 15 years and the buffers, burnishers and floor pads and none of the floor pads were ever made that way. Until you've run a 2500 rpm propane floor burnisher with a 20" floor pad you haven't seen burn through

But seriously I just feel like there's less product build up and more surface contact with the flat pads. I also think the flat pads maintain their firmness longer than the others meaning they perform better over multiple uses and last longer for the task they were designed. Just my personal experience and opinion for what that's worth :props:

B&S/Uber green (1-step pad), Meguiars MF Finishing Disc (awesome cut using D300 on Rupes 21).

cool, I have the Flex and hybrids already. I do like them a lot
