I have a red Jeep that has excellent paint. Went thru some trails with branches and have some surface scratches. Not finger nail deep. I have a electric buffer.
What pads and products would you suggest to remove. Thanks

Before anyone can make any pad suggestions - we need to know they type of polisher and the size of the backing plate.

Because it's a Jeep, and if you're going to do more trail driving in the future, I wouldn't try to remove all the scratches, just improve all the scratches.

Why?

Well if you do this more in the future, you don't have enough paint to completely remove these types of scratches over and over again, so just buzz over the paint with a great one-step cleaner/wax. The paint will still look great and in the future you can SAFELY REPEAT THIS PROCESS over and over again without compromising the clearcoat.

Mike, for a brand new car With no visible defects, would you choose blackfire pro premier polish or their one step? I’m going to follow with the 303 graphene spray…

One step includes protection so I wouldn’t use that if you plan to use the 303 Graphene spray.

And I also wouldn’t polish the vehicle unless you have some specific defects you’re trying to repair. The more you work the paint, the thinner it will get. So I’d say spray with an iron removed, clay the vehicle with a good clay lubricant, and use the lightest polish that will remove whatever defects there might be. And then protect the paint.

I'd use the BF One Step for a number of reasons, wipes off easier, leaves protection behind in case I don't get to the Graphene and 303 says their product will work over previously applied other products. But mostly because I'm lazy. BF One Step just works so darn nice and is so easy to wipe off.

Sorry for chiming in late, but been a tick busy with this project...
