Bulk products for Detailers

I also plan on trying out OPC once my D101 runs out, glad to hear it's good stuff. I'm also gonna grab a gallon of 3D towel kleen once i run out of free and clear detergent. I always figured dedicated mf detergent would be a little more expensive than just buying laundry detergent, but if I caught a sale that included free shipping, it would end up a lot cheaper to just get the towel kleen. Not to mention you've said it makes a great pad cleaner, which is appealing (right now I just use d101 at 10:1 to clean out my pads.)

I'd like to pick your brain about your list of things you use, if you don't mind

Do you prefer keeping M37 APC+ on hand for interiors that aren't soiled enough for OPC but too soiled for the fast interior detailer? Or some other reason?

Do you have specific tasks for D156 and OCW?

I'm assuming you mean uber rinseless wash. Is there a particular reason you keep both n-914 and uber on hand?

You obviously do this for a living, so what you need out of products is probably a lot more specific than someone like myself. I'm just curious, is all.

Those are great questions! Hopefully I can give you some adequate answers.

Having both Mckee's 37 APC+ and OPC is probably overkill, and if I wasn't detailing for a living I probably would only have OPC.

But yes, I consider M37 APC+ (10:1) my dedicated interior cleaner. It sits right in between OPC and N-914 for me. I actually use M37 Fast Interior Detailer in every vehicle interior to neutralize the residue left from OPC and M37 APC+ and to clean any faux chrome, aluminum, gauges, wood veneers, etc. I know Mckee's says APC+ doesn't leave any residue at any dilution, & while I don't necessarily think the residue left behind will damage interior surfaces, I do still prefer using something like Fast Interior Detailer to "rinse" or "neutralize" the surfaces.

Depending on the vehicle, on really dirty leather M37 APC+ (10:1) may require numerous applications to remove a build up of nasty body oils. In this case I'll always reach for OPC (3:1) because it's so much more effective at breaking down greasy body oils. M37 APC+ has minimal degreasing abilities and at the 10:1 dilution is a very nice mild APC that works well on plastic, rubber, vinyl, leather, cloth, and carpet, & paint.

I try to keep it simple by only using each product at 1 dilution. I always keep OPC diluted @ 3:1 & M37 APC+ @ 10:1. I predilute them both using 5 gal. carboys.

Because I work primarily on older cars and many of them are garage queens that I "freshen up" on a bi-weekly or monthly basis, for the situations I like having D156 because it's so stinkin' easy to use and it works well in hot and cold weather.

I use Optimum Car Wax on top of HD Speed for virtually all of my AIO jobs. The HD Speed + Optimum Car Wax combo has made me a lot of money over the past few years.

I use N-914 as a rinseless wash on cars that I'm performing an AIO, 1-step, or 2-step correction on. It's also a fantastic (and cheap) clay lubricant and a great product to use in the Tornador!

I use Wolfgang Uber Rinseless (3oz per gallon) as a dedicated waterless wash on maintenance details, it's a phenomenal quick detailer, it's the best glass cleaner I've ever used, and it's overall the slickest product I've found. It's slickness reminds me a lot of Meguiars D155 Last Touch but it flashes much quicker and it's virtually impossible to cause Wolfgang Uber to streak IME.

This is cool, AIO+Spray Wax combo. What do you tell your clients in terms of durability? Do you advise them to buy OCW to maintain it or do they come back for maintenance applications?

That makes sense. Have you used UWW+ for what you use uber for? I recently got some and it's pretty slick stuff, but I've heard great things about uber.
