With my new interest in detailing my own vehicles, I find myself being more aware of crimes committed against the external appearance of vehicles. While dropping off the kids for school yesterday, there was a traffic jam at a left hand turn into the parking lot. A car approached the intersection on the right hand should to avoid the LONG wait and in the process drove through a large bush that was hanging over the side of the road! The branches literally draped over 3/4 of the car and it sounded like nails on a chalkboard!

Wow! Ouch!

Watching this would probably be kind of like listening to fingernails running down a chalkboard?

:dunno:

If you think it was loud outside the car, imaging what it sounded like inside their car.

Don't ask how I know.:(

But maybe the layer of dirt on the car acted as a tree branch lubricant.

i so love it when this happens............I cant get to the car fast enough to hand them a business card. you should stand on that corner every morning.

Makes things look much worse most of the time.

Wow. That looks bad. All of it came out though?
To my surprise, the majority of those were just from the leaves dragging against the dust. If you look under the 4 in the FX4 sticker, you can see where I swiped my finger. The rest though I was able to get out for the most part, didn't have a DA at the time.

The sound was unbelievable though.

Definitely sucks but luckily it wasn't too bad. A couple years ago I went "offroading" in my explorer and put some nice scratches in it. Most came out though thankfully. Was the last time I did any sort of offroading lol.

That's gotta be what everyone's roof looks like after driving home with their Christmas tree tied to the top of their car.

Include my wife's Caravan in there! I started my hobby late fall and haven't made it to hers yet. Oops!
