To make the card more "current"

Have it as @merritt_detailing instead of a link. Looks better, IMO, and no one is going to type out a link anyway. That's how I have it on my card: @personaltouchautodetailingva

Have to disagree. There are a lot of people out there that don't know what Instragram is or how it works. A simple link is accessible to almost everyone.

I changed it to Instagram: @merritt_detailing. Hopefully that will be clear enough!
