After messing with the front for the past month, I'm finally done...

and if any changes occur, it will be as minimal as moving text .001mm to the left/right or changing font size from 14 to 14.0002... now that you get the point that I won't be changing the front :D....

I need help picking one of these 4 for the back...

1

2

3

4

I'm leaning toward the 4th one because it looks very simple and to the point compared to the front but still has the same background...

I'm planning on ordering tonight/early tomorrow so please post what you think

Thanks

On the back I would have it white for an appointment set-up. But thats my personal preference

While I understand that for dentists and such, I am completely against it in this business. No offense to anyone who does it that way and it might even be successfull, just not my cup of tea as they say.

There's always e-mail and phone # for that

Looks good IVAN. I would go with the #4 template. I like the clean cut design. Both sides will be effective.

I really like #2 it's simple and conveys what you're business is all about in 3 easy words.

Yea I'm debating on 2 or 4... I like them both in different ways... should've made this a poll haha

is your website lustrdetailing.com ? If thats the case then you get double advertising front and back.. :)

Here is something I played around with. Took me about 10 minutes, but I love playing in photoshop with just about any advertising. Good luck to you lecchilo you have good clean card and I'm sure it will get you business and prove its point!

I like #4. All of the words are bright and look chrome on the black background, much more than all of the rest.

You're looking forward to transformers also? :D

I also like playing in PS a lot, and that's a nice design (well font haha) but it's a bit too much for me, + I said I'm done with the front...

I might however steal the background idea of just filtering the background image with black, instead of having it the same as the front... Something like this...

Sounds like a plan Ivan. Your card looks awesome! Yea the diamond in the middle was kinda .. (not needed just fun) but hey the font I used was called "PEPSI" dafont.com has numerous fonts for FREE !

Be sure to fill us in on the final product. Oh yea the background in my image is my tacomas hood after some rain passed through.

Thanks for the font site...

I'm 99% sure this is the final product...

As a consumer I would prefer the back to offer more information about what you offer. Packages and what the different steps of a detail does for me as the car owner. Most people just wash theri car and they think that is fine, most will only wax it once a year and to them that is fine.

The front is for graphics and to get attention. In my opinion.

I'm making flyers for that purpose... I feel the business card should have simple contact info, and the website adds a ton of information, but clients do need to go there to get that info.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that by my definition of business card, adding info about services, etc. to the back makes it a brochure, flyer, etc., and not a business card... thus the reason for lots of simplicity here... Oh and btw, this is the finished product, ordered 250 yesterday with rounded corners...

It was just my 2 cents, get your name out there, do good work, word of mouth will bring you more customers and I am sure you will be successful.

would like to see brochures, web-site, etc.

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the feedback, and I was simply giving my opinion compared to yours.

I agree with what you said above as far as good work and word of mouth... that's already covered... I don't get tons of customers because the base of regulars hasn't grown to a large number, but it's getting there, slowly but surely.

These business cards are merely so I have something, somewhat interesting, yet straight to the point, to give to potential clients when talking about detailing and also current clients who want to pass my services onto their friends, co-workers, etc..

I am currently in the process of desiging a little post card/flyer that will have all services and maybe even some pricing listed on back, then name, #, website and a bunch of photos on the front.

As for website, the current one, in my sig, is just a free website design so I can show some before/after photos and list prices/services. Along with the post card design, I'm also in the process of designing a website in dreamweaver and/or flash, and hosting somewhere once all done, but that's a much slower process.

Again, thanks all for the feedback
