I say false advertisement. I would be expecting the girl to detail my car in that outfit!

But seriously, in my eyes, it looks like a new car with an older looking design. I guess it looks too much like a picture you'd find on MS Powerpoint. I would at least ditch the tribal art you have going on behind the Vette. I'm not sold on the graininess of the picture or the girl....

EDIT: I'd definitely use color, though. Maybe add a few 'shine' marks on the paint?

yeah i added the graininess to the picture so the car would match the girl witch is a drawing while the car is a real picture, and withouth the tribal or the girl im just left with a picture of a vette which i thought was kinda lame, ill have to keep kicking ideas around thanks for your thoughts on it!

Hate to say this, but regardless what I think of that logo, I'm more interested in wringing your neck for sitting on the nose of the 'vette in your Avatar! :bat:

Have you decided on, or found a source for the shirts and having the decals added? Curious as I have put off getting the shirts made up just yet.

i really dont have a name yet i just been doing it part time this spring and summer and thought it might be neat to make up a logo and possibly put it on a shirt to wear when working.

I wish that vette in the picture was mine sadly it isnt, it was a Hertz rental car, and if youd have seen how neglected the paint was youd know that me sitting there for a picture wasnt gonna hurt it :xyxthumbs:

I like the design but in all honesty I don't think having the lady in the logo for your business is going to bring the type of attention you want. I don't have any suggestions on what to replace her with but in my opinion taking her out would be best. I guess what I'm trying to say is that you may limit your potential customers by having her in the logo.

I'd try to keep it simple, and maybe even wait until you have a business name to incorporate with the logo. Maybe just a charachature type outline of a Corvette (or any type of car) with an exaggerated amount of suds on the hood, pouring over the fender? Then incorporate your business name below it.

Wait, scratch that! I think I'll use that idea when I finally start up a part time business! :buffing:

No tribal art. It really doesn't fit with the other items in the logo. I would keep working on the logo. Needs to be a gotcha image.

it doesnt help that im horrible with photoshop and cant seem to get rid of alot of jagged edges around the tires and what not

Needs more two bucket wash method. Just kidding! I think that looks pretty cool with the sudsy wash bucket next to the car. Is there any way of putting some dramatic suds on different areas of the car? That way there's no mistaking what's going on.

Another cool idea would be to do a 50/50 shot. This idea would probably work better with a Jeep that's just gone mudding, but you could show the front half of the car being dirty, and the back half where the soap bucket is, is super clean and shiny.

I'm not trying to get you to change your entire logo, just throwing out ideas. I like the direction you're headed in. I just think to get the point across that you're cleaning and detailing cars, people might not see that little bucket of soap if they're not looking closely. That's why I mentioned having an exaggerated amount of suds on a few spots of the car.

yea im going to try and figure a way to get soap suds on the car and may add some sparkling to the paint and wheels with photoshop but my skills with that software are very limited

As hard is it for me to say this......you need to ditch the chick......totally unprofessional. I do like her but my very professional female customers would not like her......at all. They would also expect to see you with naked lady mud flaps or something...LOL

Why don't you come up with a name for your business and have that on your shirt? That is really the best advertisement you can get, plus it looks totally professional.

I agree with dave....come up with a name and show it proudly on your back and don't forget a phone #

oh and try to come up with a catch phrase...see my sig

:iagree:With a picture, after a few washings, it will look crappy, and that won't do your business justice. But if you do go with a pic, I like the half clean/half dirty idea. Lose the babe and the tribal stuff also. It distracts from the message. Just an opinion, do what you think is good for you, it still is a free country.
