Buying Microfibers in Bulk?

If you must buy them at a local parts house I would go to Advance Auto Parts(if you have one near you) and pick up some of the Griots Garage towels. They are good. I like the white ones for polishing, I have some green ones but haven't used them yet.

Griot's MF towels are purportedly still Korean-sourced <<<that's a good thing, IMO.
I really like the White, Green, and the 'Speed Shine-Blue' ones I purchased a few years ago

Someday I may try their: Doubled MF towel

Of course...AGO carries many of Griot's Garage MF towels, as well.

I have the green ones. For me they lint on paint.

How can I get the coupon code? I have a commercial account at advanced auto parts because of the auto repair side of my business, but I get no discounts on stuff on the shelf. Only parts

If you spend 50 bucks use es123. You get 20 dollars off so three packs of the towels will be 30 bucks

I would stay away from the walmart towels if you have a costco nearby. The quality of the costco microfiber towels, and the value, is significantly better than the walmart ones. If you can't order high quality microfiber towels quite yet, you would be better off at least using the costco ones FOR NOW. Hurry up and buy some quality AG microfibers!

I know the regulars on the forum would never use either of these for their paint since they have access to cobra ones, but for your situation you would be more than fine using the costco ones for now. Especially using them over an absorber (everyone here stays away from them like the plague). Using microfibers over an absorber at least allows some dirty to embed into the nap rather than the absorber literally scraping whatever small amounts of dirty are left on the car all over the paint.

Once you can order some good cobra towels for your paint, these costco towels are excellent for basically everything else!

Did the costco ones get better? The last time I looked maybe 2 or 3 months ago, the sams club one was slightly thicker. But I would use either one on wheels and wheel wells or as rags to throw away if they get real dirty.

This is the best one to use. You can almost always get 40% off of everything at AAP by using current coupon codes and ordering online, use the free store pickup.

Like everyone else I use the cheapies for interior, door jams, and rims, etc, never the paint. Cobras or Viking is the brand I use for micros touching the paint.

I also use a combo of Vinigear and Borax to clean my microfibers and it works great, plus is cheap.

I just bought some clearance microfibers at Miejer, I think it was 1.29 for 5 towels, its good for the interior that I feel like I am always cleaning because of the kids.
