Operation Major Makeover!

Client wanted their loved, but not cared for, Corvette corrected and protected. This glass beauty was absolutely hammered. Covered from nose to tail with heavy swirls, scratches, blotchy paint, thin spots/areas, water/bird etching, you name it…it had it.

The ‘details’:

Adam’s wheel cleaner, tire&rubber cleaner, McKee’s37 hydro blue.
Adam’s shampoo.
Optimum APC.
McKee’s37 iron remover.
Master blaster to dry.
Scan grip lighting.
HF Hercules FR machine, Flex Pixie.
LC pads.
Griots FCC and Perfecting Cream.
Optimum panel wipe.
Aquatek Singular ceramic coating.
Adam’s graphene tire dressing, glass cleaner, total interior cleaner.
Metro vacuum.

Wow! What a recovery. That paint was really in bad shape, but it is flawless now.

Was your customer the original owner, or was this a second owner trying to undo the sins of a previous owner? Looks like the car saw way to many trips through a tunnel wash.

What did you use on the tailpipes? If the paint was that bad, I bet the tailpipes were too unless the car was rarely driven.

They were ok. APC'd them, washed them during wash, then used my beta test 1 step metal polish on them.

That looks amazing… I’ll bet he is glad of the transformation you did!
I see you have put quite a bit of time on the HF forced rotation buffer including this job. What’s the thoughts on this machine after numerous details? Any pluses or minuses?

^^Thank you! I really like it! A lot! Runs cooler than my 3401's. Just not as 'powerful' as my 3401's at full tilt. I will continue to use it and may even pick up another one for a back up to my many back ups!
