Well it was time to really get down with the wifes car and spruce her up abit. In truth I have been using it daily while the Vette was getting ready for Ecklers and was time to give her back in the shape I like. Do wifes even care about clean cars ??

Beautiful!! Wouldn't expect anything less from super Mod. :D Duragloss 101 looks great. Applied by hand? Definitely gotta get some DG for my SUV, since the color is almost similar to that Caddy.
I too use CK QS for my wheels.

Nice Killr!
What are your thoughts on the DG 101?

Very nice, keep us updated on durability of the 101, also top that baby with Aquaqwax :D

the more I test the Duragloss line, the more it appears to look like Zaino. Obviously it is cheaper in price, and easy to use with no need to mix. I got but did not use the polish lok from Duragloss and will use the Aquawax on it. It is very slick, like UPP initially, we will see how quickly it diminishes using the Duragloss soap also. Worst part .. I actually bought the entire line from another vendor before I found we were to carry it !!!

I do need to edit ... wrong Duragloss product. I used 111 the light blue liquid. I tossed the box and forgot to check the label.

Some do! :p The caddy looks awesome Killer! When you applied the sealant did you do one coat with the bonding agent and the sealant, buff off and then repeat for the second coat? or did you apply the second coat without the bonding agent? How long did you wait between coats? Awesome job! I love the reflection off the hood. :applause:

one coat last night .... one coat this morning. No bonding agent used, and did not seem to miss it.

So Killr, for a mobile detailer like me, what products from DG would you recommend?

If they offered them in bulk ... soap, sealant, wheel cleaner for uncoated aluminum wheels (only one to date that truly worked), and Aquawax.

I looked on their site and it says you can get them in gallon sizes. Is this true or not?

from their site, yes you can order the gallons.

AG has the Aquawax and the car wash in the gallon sizes and I'm sure they could get the gallons in the other products as well if there were an interest in the larger sizes. :)

OMG Killer, Perfection!

Like you I pick up some DG before AG had it. I paid to much for mine. AG has the best prices!

The Super Mod knows he's ShMITT!

I've used the DG CP111 on my black SLK and really like the results. Killr, that SRX is just what my wife has been wanting...any thoughts or regrets to buying that vehicle? BTW, very nice reflections in a smoke silver....

That's some awesome reflection!:righton:
That said Scott knows how to get the job done on cars, and how to take awesome reflection pictures.:applause:

We had a CTS for a couple of years and loved the car. Wife really wanted a SUV after the baby arrived to get in and out easier. (with a second coming, I might need to upgrade to Escalade soon). The powerlift gate (open and close) is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Wife can easily toss stroller and other items in at press the button. Rock solid and quiet is another. Deal could not be passed up as bought new for cash (2006). Dealer offered almost 7K off sticker (GM Employee Pricing) and added the extended warranty to 6yr/100k. The interior is an exact copy of CTS and wife loved that look also.

My only gripes ... I really wanted the super sun roof (would never use, but cool none the less) and color. We always seem to come back to charcoal grey coloring, so personal issue. I wanna add some cool wheels, but cannot find the perfect design at the perfect price and fit.

Bye - Bye Ole Red (glad to get rid of your BillyBoat exhaust however)

The new RDX from Acura is sweet, and my wife currently has a CRV, but ever since my 97 Cadillac DeVille Concours (black ofcourse) I've had a place in my heart for Cadillac. We drove an SRX 2 years ago, and I fell in love with it, looks and power. My wife tends to be alittle too practical at times, and she's concerned that our dog will destroy the butter soft leather in the SRX. Maybe we should get the SRX and I'll just let my wife keep her Honda as the dog transporter, and I'll be more than happy to commute to work in the SRX.... yeah, that's how I'll present it to her!

Thanks for your insight Killr.
