Painting the calipers on my wife's 06 Maxima. Gary's wheel well job on his Lambo got me started. I ordered the caliper paint online. It comes in alot of colors. I'm using black. The kit includes everything that you need except masking tape. It can be done without removing them. Here they are.

nice job...love the way calipers look painted...definitely finishes the look...now time to start shopping for a big brake kit :) ...hehehe...nice job on cleaning the wheel well out while you were down there...looks good...

Very nice Jimmie. A nicely painted set of calipers really adds to the look of a car. Was it pretty straight forward?

orngez: Thank you. Yeah, one of the perks was having the wheel well right in front of you to be cleaned. Back of wheel too.
Budman: Thank you. Yeah, pretty straight forward. After the wheel was off, clean the caliper (spray in kit), mask off, and paint with the brush in the kit.

Looks great Jimmie. I would also love to see pictures with the wheels on. I just got to my brother's house in Michigan today and checked out his painted calipers. He has a red 350Z and painted the calapers yellow.

I want to paint my calipers but thought I would have to buy new ones in order for the paint to adhere... am I wrong on this?

Gary welcome to Michigan, where about are you?

MotorCityHonda: The kit comes with a spray cleaner made for brakes and clutches. It's pretty stong stuff. Any oils and junk rolls off and it dries immediately. Then it's ready for paint. I'd Google "caliper paint". There are only two brands that I saw. Both look good.

The black caliper looks good with the white car. It makes for a very nice extra detail. I never thought of painting them myself. Looks like a great idea and a good excuse to really clean the wheel well.

Looking good!

WOW that is sleek and stealthy and sexy. It doesn't look so bland looking. Jimmie, you made that look 1000000% better :D

Thanks for the pic Jimmie! It's a great improvement. I don't have my camera with me but I'll try and get a picture of my brothers caliples with his camera.

Thanks Reddwarf. Really sorry about your PC. Hope you get hooked up with a new UDM.
