Jimmie...I did my calipers when I got my truck new....I used a ceramic base paint I did them in Red....till this day they look like they were just done...

Yours look very nice and should last a long time....the Black looks good with your color scheme....very cool looking....

For those of you that did red what color is your car?

I have a silver metallic paint job and am considering black ( ithink it would pull together with window tints) OR red and I think it may set it off (not sure if too much though)

Anyone with red calipers, if you can out a pic I'd be grateful!

I painted the calipers blue, the retention clip and the caliper holder silver, and the hub black.

They match the new wedssports very nicely.

Oh, and the Mazda stickers were added on, and a clear enamel painted over it.

I want to paint my calipers but thought I would have to buy new ones in order for the paint to adhere... am I wrong on this?

i hv use the G2 kit on m last three cars. it comes with a brake cleaner to prep older calipers for the epoxy paint. all have turned out great and no problems. by a better paint brush and plan on a long afternoon. you put at least three coats on each. you painters tape to mask off areas you don't want painted. i have pics if you are interested.

excellent job! I recently refinished mine as well on all 4 calipers and made custom vinyls to replace the old ones!

then sanded them down and applied a few light coats of high heat clearcoat.
