Call to Ban YouTubers

Glad we both agree he does advertising, not product reviews.

100% agree he’s more like an infomercial from the 80’s and 90’s..... always some good some bad. I look at his video like any other tool in my detail bag.

Use it for what it is. He’s intro’d me to alot of products that i will then do research to what people think.

Even in fair reviews it still hard to see things like longevity and what we all “see” is perceived different.

Chemical break down test only show their resistance to those chemicals in a manner it would not introduced to my paint.

I likr long term panel testing but even then, those aren’t subjected to what your paint may encounter on the roads.

Lastly long term test applied to a car only show how the react to their enviroment.

You get someone from Washington, Southern California, Arizona, Georgia, and New york and all will get different experiences from the same product.

Our air pollution, ground water road film are all different so we will almost have the same experience as a different user/influencer

Just my thoughts.

There are channels on YT that do product reviews. Project Farm is a great one. Love him or hate him, Jimbo tests products.

A youtube channel is a business. The way Pan has promoted his channel comes off to me as sleazy. There are claims that he's taken credit for something someone else came up with. Dump promotion posts on a forum and run. That's just a bad way to run a business.

As for Scott, not sure this helps him either. Most comments about his video sided toward the negative.
The Scott video was hilarious to me. All of the fake drama and the long pauses. It was hard to watch but funny as well.

I used to watch Pan. It's obvious he's just an infomercial for whatever he's using that day. I'd rather watch Mike Phillips. I'll probably learn something.
Yes he makes petty good coin being a shill.
