Calling all Chemical Guys Aficionados

I started out using adams stuff, overpriced then I switched to chemical guys overall I am pleased with their products. I just tried the butter wet wax not bad, I love the blacklight I use the v7 after every wash on my own vehicle it's really good stuff.

Same here. Adams is def. Overpriced

V38 has like no cut. Great polish though. I would definitely get the combo kit. I really enjoy the V Series.

Black Optics have a thicker MF nap on them. They also have two different densities of foam. Orange and Black. One for compound one for polish. You will also notice the foam pad is thicker holding up to heat transfer better. The foam is cut on an angle making sure the only thing touching the paint is MF. LC uses this on the Hybrid pads they make. I'm pretty sure it's the hybrid line.
I have done several passes on panels with the black optics pads and not a lick of heat on the paint. They really hold the contour of a panel well and keep full contact during buffing. I have heard of the thinner MF pads failing quickly, running hot and caking up fast. These won't. I would just get them from Car Pro instead of CG you will save some cash. They cut much faster then foam but don't finish out as well. They are much easier to keep clean as well. IMO
