I searched but could not find any answers. Can EXO be applied on top of Opticoat? If the EXO will take to Opticoat, how long do I need to wait after Opticoat before applying EXO.
Or is there any real benefit to having both? From what I have read it seams like EXO will leave a better shine and gloss but does not last as long and does not offer as much scratch resistance, is this true?
I have a clients metallic red Mustang GT in the shop, I corrected the paint today and am going to coat it tomorrow but am trying to decide if I want to use Opticoat, EXO or both.
Any help and suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks

Most likely it would be wasted because Opti inhibits a secure bond...which is a good thing for shedding dirt, but not if you like to try new LSPs. They may last up to a month but no where near what they would on paint.

I think OC leaves just as good shine and gloss as anything. Prep work equal.

I agree I see people writing it on forums but I don't believe it to be true.
