I just bought some Menzerna power lock polymer paint sealant and I have an open can of Mothers carnauba wax. Should I use both?

You can if you like but not necessary. If you do make sure it's not a cleaner wax. I believe Mothers has both a cleaner wax and a pure carnauba.

RE: "Test Spot"

•Before waxing on top of the
entire, Sealant-covered, vehicle...
-Why don't you, at first, just put some
Wax on 1/2 of the hood and see if you
like "the change" (if any).

You can but it's not necessary.

Before coatings came about, my LSP of choice is Powerlock followed by Autoglym HD wax. Man the finish it produced was breathtaking. If you're interested in some of my show and shines with this combo, please let me know.

I think applying a wax on top of a sealer is a complete waste of time. How well do you think that wax will adhere on top of a product designed to help prevent contaminants form sticking to the paint in the first place? Some people do top a sealer because they prefer the look of carnuba as opposed to the shine that most sealants leave behind. My guess is that if you top the sealer with wax, the vast majority of that wax will come off during the next time you wash the car. As it should if the sealer is really doing its job.
