Can I polish before McKees Paint Coating?

Bob - what would be your recommendation for a good product if I find that there is light swirling, etc in the paint?
 
Who knows depending on how much time I have I may just do HD Speed and top it off with Collinite 845 if I feel like I don't have the time to do all the prep work for the Paint Coating

Look at the two products that Marc posted in the McKee's compound and polish. I do like me some product synergy. If you like something that you can pick up locally Meguiar's offer ultimate polish and M205.
 
Just get a bottle of Meguiar's ultimate polish for $8-10. If you need to go heavier, the ultimate compound has finished out like a polish for me.
I did ultimate compound - M37 prep polish - m37 coating on my wife's car.

The ultimates did fine with black trim, but the prep polish will leave white behind.
 
wouldn't m205 be fine if the defects are light? if not then step up to 105 and then check and go back to 205 if needed?
