I love my collinite, looks great, somewhat easy to use, and very durable.

However, I have always applied on bare paints. I'm just wondering what would happen if I put it on top of an AIO? Would it still be just as durable and last as long as it normally does?

Would it maybe matter what AIO I use?

Thanks!

i think its a hybrid so you should be able to top it.its cheap enough price wise so it sure wouldnt hurt.

Top away Roshan......it really dosen't matter, 845 is very good.

if your topping with coli845........wouldn't it be the lsp( last step product)?

yeah that's exactly what I'm talking about. Having c845 as the last step. Thanks for your input, have you tried it before? What aio and how long do you think it lasted?

If you have some XMT360 I would try topping it with 845. I have had occasions where xmt360 showed great durability, so think it would be great to have 845 on top of it. Think I'll try it on the truck and see. Thanks for the idea;)

I like putting it over Klasse AIO. The AIO cleans and preps for an LSP, and also leaves a LITTLE protection of its own. My new thing is Klasse AIO, DP Poli-Coat, then wax. Its great. :dblthumb2:

Same here I have done all the family cars with Klasse AIO and # 845 last summer and they looked great.

I don't perform these feats too much anymore...

What I originally thought was for just: 'poops and giggles'...
I've applied #845 atop the KLASSE Twins with:
Seemingly implausible...Yet extraordinarily beautiful results!!

Nowadays, though, for a quick CC pick-me-up, I'll use any one of the
different AIO's I have in stock...Often followed by film-layer of #845.

Roshan...
Have you ever considered applying a film-layer of a good carnuba wax (such as: P21S) atop #845?

:)

Normally I would Bob, but this is for a possible client, not for me :) And she's not willing to pay enough for a wax on top. Nor do I think she would notice even if I did it as an extra thing for free.

I love DG501 topped with 845, great looks and awesome durability. DG501 is an awesome AIO with great protection, topped with 845 a daily driver is golden.

I've used 476s over Klasse AIO on a friend's car with great results

How does straight 845 compare to Z-1 or DG105 as far as durability goes? I've tested Z-1 against 105 before but never tried 845 by itself.
