Can I put profi over a 3 year old uber coating?

Will I have to strip uber down before putting on Profi or can I paint prep spray and cover with Profi, The car looks good just thinking the profi would be alittle better.
 
Polishing will net you the best results from the new coating.
 
After cleaning a section of a horizontal surface, do the baggie test.


I know the temptation to simply clean and coat, but like Michael said, best results come from first polishing.

This is why I'm a fan of one-step cleaner/waxes. No muss, just plow through a car.

Seriously. And after the initial BIG correction if the car is well maintained (washed regularly, touched carefully) the refresh requires fewer section passes since I only need to remove light towel marring and road film. Sometimes I don't even need to clay. I still use lots of pads and lay the product down heavy but my arm speed is faster and I dial back the pressure a bit. As a non-professional a good AIO has been completely bubba-proof for me.
 
So are. you putting on more ceramic coating over ceramic?
 
Ok so let me put it this way. Yes you want to strip off the current layer and re-coat.

Everyone is looking for a short cut with coatings and unfortunately one has to put in the work to do it right.

You could put it on over the previous layer and you will take the risk of it not bonding or longevity.
 
Ok I used the swirl corrector and paint prep ,them coated with profi. It looks great I’ll see in a few weeks if it stays good
 
Wasn’t looking for a shortcut as more interested in the two products working together
