Can I use a QD to remove pollen?

Pollen has officially ruined my day today. I worked on my car from dawn till dusk yesterday and I woke up to the entire car being coated in pollen... Did a waterless wash and not even an hour later and it was coated again... 😓😔😪
 
Just save yourself some effort and rinse it off and blow dry until the pollen slows down. Otherwise... It will be yellow in like 30 minutes lol

I don't even do that much right now. I just keep to my regular wash schedule and deal with the pollen. Its not worth the frustration.

This time of year I can wash my car and watch it turn yellow WHILE I'M DRYING :mad:
 
I finally found Meguiars Ultimate Wash and Wax OTC. Removed the pollen from my truck as well as my wife's car in little to no time. I must admit - this newbie was using a QD to remove pollen and was doing more harm than good. Now I know.

The product smells great and was super-easy to work with. The bottle says there's enough product to do 3-4 vehicles. Sounds about right as I used about half.

i'm not touching my wife's truck until it rains. we haven't had legit rain in a while and the pollen is just insane - not worth it.

what's funny is a few times it has drizzled slightly, which leaves quite a mess with the pollen on the vehicle, but doesn't help wash it away from anywhere, including the trees lol.

If you like it, save a lot of money by ordering a gallon of Meguiar's Express Wash and Wax. A gallon costs $63, but it makes four gallons of waterless wash.
