Can i use LC pads on Meguiars backing plate?

So here is the question I got:

Can I use LC pads on Meguiars backing plate? In particular W-64. It has self centering system, so Meguiars pads have little hole in the middle of the pad to fit in, so when I put LC pad on it its kinda have bump on the center.

I have one of those self centering BPs as well. It shouldn't be a problem even if used on other pad brands.
