I have a very unique trailer that was used for my pool business, which had to unfortunately be replaced with a larger trailer. I'm planning on starting a mobile detailing business, mainly because I already do it on the weekends and have done it professionally in the past. I'm finding it difficult to sell this trailer for what I would like to get for it. So i'm toying with the idea of using it for detailing. It's a 4x6, weighs only 370lb, and a capacity of 1,000lb. Obviously, the capacity limits me as far as a water tank. However, my plan is to use customer's water and electricity, at least in the beginning anyway. I've attached phots of the trailer in question, and greatly appreciate suggestions. The toolbox is no longer attached, but in place of it is a 2" sleeve welded to the frame, which could be used to hold a hose reel, etc.

Here are some setup ideas. You may have to remove the cover if you plan on using your own water tank. A lot of people are going rinseless, so that would be a good space saving option.

Looks cool and different. That could be a point of difference from a marketing perspective. Try to find a company that could wrap it or design something cool. Since you are going to be using customers' water and electrical, I'd think you could manage supplies, equipment and product. Plus you have your vehicle as well if you need more room for items.

I think it would work well for you at the moment if you do not have a very large vehicle now. I'm mobile and get by just using my Subaru Forester but have thought about a small pull behind. Work with what you have and build up from there.

With 1000lbs capacity you could carry 50 gallons of water and still have 500 lbs of other supplies.

Thanks so far everyone! I do have a truck ('15 GMC Canyon), however, I really don't want the bed full of supplies. Would rather only use the bed for maybe a toolbox and a couple totes.

Yes.
You could absolutely use this trailer for auto detailing.
It would make a great conversation piece and turn some heads your way.

You may consider removing the top, and actually fabricating a new top that stands much taller.

Thanks guys. If I decide to go the tank route, what's the smallest you think I can get away with? I want to offer water-less, however don't want to be limited to just that. In my opinion, anything less than 125 gallon isn't enough, can anyone offer an opinion on this? For example, let's say I get a job with no hose, and two vehicles. I see that you can get a vertical tank which would save more space.

It depends on the Gallons per minute of your pressure washer and how many car per day you think you might service.
