Just found a couple of tubs (used) of P21s and pinnacle souveran from circa 2001. They look and smell ok. Just wondering if there's a shelf life? If there is such a thing ?

Thanks for any help

My opinion based on reading other’s experiences is that Paste waxes like what you found are always good as long as they look good (haven’t dried out).

They should work like new.

Seemingly: Many things aren’t effected
by entropy in an equal or similar manner.

As such:
Car Waxes probably have around the same
expiration date (ie: remain effective), as does
the following delicacies:

•Accordingly, IMO (and on the scale
of: GO <—> NO GO):
-Both of your P21s and Pinnacle Souveran
Waxes are a: GO.

Here’s the simple answer: If the wax is as easy to apply and remove as it was new, it is fine. Even some cracking in old wax is fine. When they go bad, application and/or removal will be difficult.

Agree with above comments. I'll also volunteer to take any Pinnacle Souveran off your hands if you don't want to deal with it :-).

Thanks...………..but, NO THANKS

Just applied a bit on the trunk lid...…..looks good, easy on easy off. Apparently there is no shelf life.

It is one my favorites of all time! Even in this day of coatings, sealants and what not it is still one of my go-to products. I'd attest to it lasting almost forever, keep the lid screwed on tight and you will not have any issue.

I am sure to store my waxes in room temperature year round

Good to save those waxes. A new coating or sealant is introduced weekly. When’s the last time we saw a new wax?

One of the newest ones I can remember is Fuzion. It’s been out for some time already

I used a old jar of Pinnacle Paste Glaz a few weeks ago that is around 15 years old. It was easy on and easy off. Great look on silver.

as long as the paste wax hasn't changed in consistency and/or smell foul, you should be fine to use it...
