Can PPF be polished?

As the title suggests, can a coated PPF (Xpel) be polished/paint corrected to remove water spots and/or old coating without damaging the PPF? I'm not referring to a heavy compound, something more akin to GG Perfecting Cream.
 
Yes, i've done quite a few with milder abrasives and milder pads.

Looks like that Gyeon product is engineered for exactly that purpose.

Yes. Just use a white pad and light pressure. Remember it does have a clear coat finish but don't go trying to "correct it" with pressure or heat as you'll burn through it. Otherwise, yes, any good polish or AIO will work just fine.
 
Good point, Tommy, i.e. light to no pressure works best for me too.
