Can these rims be saved?

Noobie here. Figured I'd ask the experts for your advice. I have an '05 Grand Prix GTP in beautiful shape...Except for the rims. My options are: 1. Buy recon rims from a body guy I trust for $600. 2. Prep and paint them for $75 -$100 a rim. Can these rims be brought back to decent shape for less? Is that painting price reasonable? Appreciate your thoughts. The pictures are representative of the damage on all the rims. Thanks.

Oh those are an easy fix. Although it may run more than you could buy already 'reconditioned' units for. I know the guy that started Wheel Wizard and you wouldn't BELIEVE what they can fix. :eek:

LKQ would the place to contact and see if you can either find some pull offs or some Keystone wheels. My daughter had one damaged in a wreck that the insurance company and body shop missed that was on the L Front at the time. Right afterwards her tires were rotated and it went to the R Rear. She was driving back and forth to college at the time and really didn't notice it. So the next time they were rotated it went back to the front and it immediately started shaking the steering wheel. Discount Tire tried to sell her aftermarket wheels, telling her the wheel was bent and she would need to buy a pair, (so they'd match).

The car is a 2006 Pontiac G6 GTP with factory alloys and she didn't want aftermarket wheels, and couldn't afford them if she did. So she came home and I looked at it, didn't look damaged at all. Not along the rim on either side. (It had been repainted when the car was repaired.) Come to find out it was BENT along the SPOKES and was more or less warped.

Called the body shop and the price on an OEM wheel was like $400, but a "Keystone" reconditioned wheel, (his cost) was $60. I paid the $60 and it's been good ever since. :)
 
Thanks for the advice. I have a LKQ pretty close to me in NE Ohio. I'll see what they have. I'd love to be able to get some for $60 each
