I have a 2005 Land Rover LR3. The color is Tonga Green. When it is clean it looks amazing! I thought that I had a drop of pine sap on the Hood. I scraped it with my finger nail and pulled off a chip of the clear coat. Cab this be saved. I don't need it perfect but I wanted to know if I can dab it with a drop of clear and keep it from spreading? Thanks. Phil

Yes you can touch this up with clear. It looks like you still have some clear that is ready to come off.
Revemove remaing clear, touch sand with clear preferably 2K clear.
Let dry then level with 3,000 grit, compound and polish
