I'm talking about with a car outside and it reaches 20 degrees overnight. Will the sealant breakdown?

Cold will not break it down. We have a lot of clients that use Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0 for protection during the winter months because of it's durability.

:dblthumb2:

Once the sealant is on the car it does not care what temperature it sees, now the bottle of sealant is another story and should not be kept in a freezing environment.

You guys kill me. :)
20 degrees is not cold.
-20 degrees is cold.

FWIW, sealants don't freeze and fall off at -20 either. :D

Don't worry about the cold affecting any LSP once applied to your paint. As for the sealant, the most you will see it affected by the cold is you might get some seperation from the various ingredients in the product but a good shake will re-mix the product and will be unphazed.

I would not leave any paste wax or sealant in freezing temperatures though since the expansion/contraction can cause cracks in the product.

:whs:I have had WGDGPS on my outside 24/7 vehicle without any issues. And last winter it did get down into the teen digits. With ice and snow, no problem

Here is South Florida it battles 100 quite well too. Its 85 degrees today and December which sucks !!

-20 degrees is cold.

:whs:We had a high of 12 degrees here in Eastern Idaho today, predicted low tonight of -10 degrees. (Ya, boo hoo Scott I'd trade you some Idaho weather for some Florida weather in a heart beat):props:

Well, here in southeast British Columbia, it was -32C this morning, -45C with the wind. :xyxthumbs: Got the DGPS on just before the cold snap. Looks good and hope it works as well as everyone says!

I used to live in Toronto, now I'm wayyy down here in Texas -- DEF climate change!! haha

We're currently at 40-50s here...I don't even remember what anything below 0 feels like anymore.. lol

Nahhhhh.
Our Wednesday forecast:
High 15 degrees F
10 to 12 inches of snow
50 mph winds
Now, that sucks. :D
:iagree:We have the wind today, but no snow thank God! It's supposed to get real cold the next couple of days. But the sun should be shinning next week. I'll break out the ONR and clean the detail truck! YEAH! Im the MAN
