Why would you use a foam pad after wax removal? You can put a mf bonnet over a foam pad to buff the wax.
 
no i ment as the very last thing you do
other than buffing by hand with a microfiber

You can use a grey/blue/red pad to apply the wax by machine and remove with a mf bonnet over a pad.
 
I definitely wouldn't run a foam buffing pad over the paint by itself.
