Prologue:
When it comes to keeping a vehicle: clean&shiny...
There are, obviously, differences in standards that exist among vehicle owners.
I.
Since fallout consists of
'materials' such as: environmental/man-made contaminates; and, road contaminates
consisting of
'materials' such as: tire rubber, road oils, dirt, bugs, etc...
And are often difficult to remove from a vehicle's surfaces...
Then...For a car-washing-session to be most successful, in the attempt to remove these contaminates,
will usually involve a rubbing/agitation-action during the vehicle washing regimen.
II.
IMHO...No car wash "shampoo" will be able to totally circumferentially encapsulate all of the contaminates' surface areas...
This is where the rubbing/agitation process mentioned above will, in many cases, be better described as being:
Abrasive by Nature.
Epilogue:
Therefore...I ask myself:
-Isn't such an abrasive action a precursor to paint blemishes (swirls, scratches...and their ilk)?
-How often do I wish to take this:
"Risk to Inflict"?!?!
